Effects of Palm Kernel Meal in Diets of Layer KUB Chicken

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects different levels palm kernel meal (PKM) on diets layer KUB (Kampung Unggul Balibangtan) chicken. Local feed included in various PKM at 0% (T1), 10% (T2) and 20% (T3). This research conducted 2019 beginning period. One hundred forty-four 22-week-old birds were selected from a flock randomly allocated three treatments with 3 replicates diet feeds introduced. Feed intake egg production determined using SPSS Software. increase had no effect (p>0.05). each treatment 65.39%, 60.67 % 62.50%. applied T3 (20%) did not affect chickens due low crude fibre (4.64%). price T1, T2 IDR 6,000, 5,250 4,500 respectively. With difference prices 1,500 compared commercial feed, is expected reduce cost chicken production.
